Maria Petrenko

I host private walks and slow days on Santorini for people who want to understand the island past its viewpoints: its inland villages, its makers, the rhythms most visitors miss.
I moved here to build a life, not take a holiday. I’ve learned who’s behind the doors, which farmer grows what, and when to arrive so a place feels like itself. I started as a translator, and in a way I still do it—I read a place and hand it back to you in words you can use.
I write about the people who make Santorini worth staying for.
