Cassandra Culver

Cassandra Culver (founder of La Linga dell’Amore) is native to the Pacific Northwest and a 4th generation Italian descendant from Abruzzo, Italy. She holds a B.S. in Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder and studied an M.A. in World Food Cultures & Mobility at the Università di Scienze Gastronomiche di Pollenzo in Bra, Italy, home of the International Slow Food Movement. Cassandra is passionate about preserving her Italian heritage and inherited a recipe collection of over 300 recipes from her Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She resides in Colorado where she advocates for regenerative agriculture practices and sources from local farms. Cassandra created La Linga dell’Amore, the Language of Love as a platform to share her love for cooking Italian cuisine and passion for global food sovereignty. When Cassandra is not in the kitchen, she loves to spend time with her son Roman, hike, run, practice yoga, bake, make pasta from scratch, taste new wines and garden.
