Ruggero Pini

Ruggero Pini is a documentary filmmaker based in the hills outside Bologna, where he grew up and returned after years working in China and Europe. He is the founder of Food Storytelling, telling stories about food, people, and places. His documentary Bolognese, on the culinary heritage of his city, was selected at the Ceres Food Film Festival in New York and grew out of his academic research on food storytelling and tourism. He also teaches food communication to tourism professionals in Emilia-Romagna.
