<p>Renato Poliafito is a two-time James Beard nominee and the owner (and manager, and HR department, and handyman, and PR rep) of Ciao, Gloria, a bakery and café with a decidedly Italian accent in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Dolci! is his fifth cookbook, but he considers it his first &#8220;solo album.&#8221; He enjoys traveling and not traveling in equal measure. In his free time, he is a novice potter and likes to eat sweets (duh). He lives with his husband and potential future dog in Brooklyn.
