Born and raised in America, and lured to Italy by superb food and wine, Toni Mazzaglia moved to Florence in 2002.
In 2007, she created <a href="https://www.tasteflorence.com/">Taste Florence Food Tours</a> to share her love of food and wine with visitors. Her tours have been featured in Fodor’s, Rick Steves, the Boston Globe, The Dallas Morning News, The Washington Post, the Toronto Star, and featured on Voice of America, Deutsche Welle, The CBC and MTV.
Toni is currently producing her upcoming podcast,<a href="https://appetitomagazine.com/toni-mazzaglia/#inbox/_blank"> Craving Tuscany.</a>
She writes to share her love of Italian cuisine with all who are hungry to learn more, and she is thrilled to share her passion with the readers of Appetito.

With decades of service at award-winning restaurants nationwide, she brings her talents to Yolan and The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Nashville, as Food and Beverage Partner, overseeing the beverage and service programs at Yolan, as well as Denim, the hotel’s rooftop bar, and Four Walls, an intimate cocktail lounge. A rarity for most restaurants, Cathy has built and oversees an impressive team of four sommeliers at Yolan. With unquenchable thirst for learning, Cathy continually builds her encyclopedic knowledge, especially through travel. She appreciates the discovery of boutique varietals, organic and biodynamic selections, women winemakers, and the world of aperitivi and digestivi. Now living in Nashville with <a href="https://appetitomagazine.com/features/how-calabrian-cooking-shaped-chef-tony-mantuano/">her husband Tony Mantuano</a>, Cathy is the co-author of <a href="https://amzn.to/3MByNlN">Wine Bar Food</a>, an homage to the vibrant food and drink of the Mediterranean.

Gianluca Rottura has a life-long relationship with Italian food and wine. He grew up in the restaurant industry in New York City and on family farms in Italy, then became infatuated by wine. Since 1997, his wine store, <a href="https://www.invinoveritas.nyc/">In Vino Veritas</a>, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, has specialized in smaller, most family-owned wineries.
