Eva Santaguida was born and raised in Calabria, Italy. She learned how to cook in the best environment possible: a small Italian village where no restaurant survives because everyone’s Nonna is the best chef in town! She and her husband, Harper Alexander, are the creators of the popular Italian cooking YouTube channel, Pasta Grammar, where they share authentic Italian food through a humorous video format. They quickly found success on the platform after being named one of YouTube&#8217;s “Creators on the Rise.” Their brand has expanded as they serve their customers and fans with unique merchandise, video cooking guides, Italian language lessons. and an enormously successful series of culinary tours where they take eager foodies on ten-day trips through southern Italy.
Harper Alexander worked as a cinematographer in Hollywood before meeting his wife, Eva Santaguida. She immediately started sharing the food of her country with him, and he was shocked at just how different (and better!) it was from the “Italian” food he thought he knew. Harper and Eva are the creators of the popular Italian cooking YouTube channel, Pasta Grammar, where they share authentic Italian food through a humorous video format. They quickly found success on the platform after being named one of YouTube&#8217;s “Creators on the Rise.” Their brand has expanded as they serve their customers and fans with unique merchandise, video cooking guides, Italian language lessons. and an enormously successful series of culinary tours where they take eager foodies on ten-day trips through southern Italy.

Meet Katie Caldesi of the Cookbook Series “Eat Around Italy”

Cathy Coluccio Fazzolari is co-owner of the legendary D. Coluccio &amp; Sons in Brooklyn, New York. Founded by her late father in the mid-1960s, D. Coluccio &amp; Sons is one of the oldest importers of Italian specialty foods in the United States, with a retail store adjacent to the wholesale location. Cathy grew up in the business. She is fluent in Italian and has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from St. John’s University in Queens, New York. Today, she runs the day-to-day operations of the company, travels to Italy, and attends trade shows to source artisanal food products. She has a passion for food and learned to cook from her mother, who was a native of Calabria, Italy. Cathy has taught cooking classes at the Great Neck Adult Center, New York City College of Technology, and Boston College. Cathy has served on the board of Les Dames d’Escoffier New York as treasurer and is a member of the National Organization of Italian American Women (NOIAW).

Joe Yonan is the two-time James Beard Foundation Award-winning food and dining editor of The Washington Post. He is the author of Mastering the Art of Plant-Based Cooking (released September 3, 2024), a first-of-its-kind compendium of approachable, plant-based recipes and wisdom from across the globe; Cool Beans, which was named one of the best cookbooks of the year by Food Network, NPR, Forbes, Wired, and more; Eat Your Vegetables; and Serve Yourself. C. Marina Marchese is the international best-selling author of The Honey Connoisseur: Selecting, Tasting and Pairing Honey with a Guide to More than 30 Varietals, Honey for Dummies and her personal journey into beekeeping Honeybee: Lessons from an Accidental Beekeeper.



She is the first U.S. citizen to be accepted into the Italian National Register of Experts in the Sensory Analysis of Honey, where she received her formal training. Marina is the founder of the American Honey Tasting Society, an educational organization that teaches the Italian method of tasting and evaluating varietal honey.
