Austin’s pizza scene has a gluten-free side, and these six pies are worth every last slice.

Finding the best gluten-free pizza isn't always easy. Many gluten-free crusts simply don't compare to traditional pizza.

As someone who loves pizza but has to eat gluten free, I've spent years searching for restaurants that actually get it right. Whether you're craving a thick Detroit-style pie, a crispy thin crust pizza, or something lighter with a cauliflower base, Austin has you covered.

Here are six of my favorite places to find gluten-free pizza in Austin.

A note for gluten-free diners: Preparation methods and cross-contact risks vary by restaurant, so diners with celiac disease or allergies should confirm current kitchen practices directly with the restaurant before ordering.

Via 313

Via 313 is known for its thick Detroit-style pizza, available with a gluten-free crust. Courtesy of Via 313

Via 313 was voted 2025 USA Today 10 Best Readers' Choice award , and after trying it, it's easy to understand why. Unlike many gluten-free pizzas, Via 313 serves Detroit-style, featuring a thick, airy crust with crispy edges. For those of us eating gluten free, we know this isn't common.

If it's your first visit, order the The Originial Pepperoni. Thick-cut pepperoni, Wisconsin brick cheese, and Via 313's signature house-made tomato sauce make it just as delicious as it sounds

Love Supreme

Sometimes the atmosphere is just as important as the food, and Love Supreme delivers both. The restaurant has become a favorite place to start a girls' night out with creative cocktails (don’t miss Wine Wednesday), lively energy, and a shareable menu.

Love Supreme frequently appears in online rankings of Austin's best gluten-free pizza. Whether you order a classic Margherita or something loaded with toppings, the ingredients taste fresh, the crust has excellent texture, and their happy hour can’t be beat.

Asti Trattoria

If you're searching for an upscale Italian restaurant in Austin with plenty of gluten-free options, Asti Trattoria should be at the top of your list.

My favorite is the Truffle & Prosciutto Pizza, which perfectly balances truffle, salty prosciutto, baby kale, and a farm egg with a crispy gluten-free crust. Pair your meal with their homemade gluten-free focaccia and a glass of wine for the perfect Italian date night.

It's rare to find an Italian restaurant that offers multiple gluten-free options beyond just the pizza, making Asti stand out. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or searching for a simple weeknight meal, Asti Trattoria hits the spot.

Baldinucci Pizza Romana

If authentic Italian pizza is what you're after, Baldinucci Pizza Romana delivers one of the most traditional experiences in Austin. The restaurant serves both Roman-style pizza and real New York-style pizza, offering something for everyone.

Their gluten-free crust is light and flavorful, and their pizzas are made with high-quality ingredients, prepared classically with simple flavors. Their Domain Northside location opens Aug. 17, and their West Lake Hills location is temporarily closing as of Monday, Aug. 10 for expansion.

Lil Nonna's

Lil Nonna's is one of the most inclusive pizza restaurants in Austin. Offering both vegan and gluten-free pizzas, it's an ideal choice when dining with family or friends who have different dietary preferences.

At Lil Nonna’s, the gluten-free pizza gets just as much attention as the rest of the menu, with fresh ingredients and plenty of flavor.

Show Me Pizza

Show Me Pizza offers a gluten-free cauliflower crust in South Austin.

Show Me Pizza is a great stop when you’re craving something on the lighter side. Its gluten-free cauliflower crust is thin and crisp and loaded with flavor. With creative pizzas and a casual South Austin feel, it’s an easy addition to any gluten-free pizza list.

2809 S. First Street, Austin TX 78704 @showmepizza

The Austin food community continues to prove that dietary restrictions don't have to limit great experiences. Whether you prefer Detroit, New York, Roman, thin crust, or cauliflower, Austin's pizza scene is worth trying. For pizza lovers like me, Austin is a destination where you never have to choose between great flavor and eating gluten free.
