Italian bitter brand Campari is hosting a pop-up experience in New York City’s Nolita neighborhood this weekend inspired by the ritual of aperitivo.
Campari Spritz Square is a neighborhood experience available by complimentary reservation. Open Saturday, August 15th through Sunday, August 16th. Reservations are open for 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. sessions. Tickets for the 90 minute sessions are complimentary and include two Campari Spritz cocktails for each guest.
The experience kickass off at Piccolo Morini (40 Kenmare Street) with participation from other neighborhood hotspots including 7 Spring, Kinto and Elorea. In addition to brightly-hued sparkling sips, guests can expect DJ sets, photo opportunities and aperitivo bites.
This is the second annual happening of the Campari Spritz Square in New York. The brand hosted similar events in Miami and Los Angeles earlier this year.
"Last year we launched Campari Spritz stateside via Campari Spritz Square in New York City and the consumer excitement spoke for itself,” Allison Varone, head of marketing at Campari America, said in March while announcing the Miami and Los Angeles events.
“All tickets to the experience sold out within minutes of it going live,” she continued. “There was appetite to embrace the aperitivo ritual with a modern, market spin.”
Reservations have been available on a rolling basis and a limited number of walk-in spots are also available.
