1 cup 1 all purpose flour
1/4 cup 1/4 unsalted butter, melted
1 large 1 egg
1/4 cup 1/4 pumpkin puree
1/2 cup 1/2 granulated sugar
2 tsp. 2 pumpkin pie spice
1 1/4 tsp. 1 1/4 baking powder
1 tsp. 1 vanilla extract
pinch of salt
confectioners sugar, for garnish
cinnamon, for garnish
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together egg, pumpkin puree and sugar until smooth. Add melted butter and vanilla until combined.
- Combine flour, salt, pumpkin pie spice and baking powder and, with a spatula, fold into the egg mixture until well combined.
- Preheat your pizzelle iron to medium heat and brush with vegetable oil.
- Using a piping bag or Ziploc bag, or with a tablespoon, pipe about 1 tablespoon of batter onto the center of the iron and cook according to your product instructions.
- Remove the hot pizzelle onto a cooling rack. Garnish with confectioners sugar and cinnamon. Store at room temperature. Serve immediately.
